Before being named interim director, Bill served as Campus Dining Associate Director of Operations for three years. He brought with him 22 years of hospitality experience in the Bloomington-Normal community. Bill is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics. Prior to coming to Illinois State, he worked as a General Manager at The Chateau Hotel & Conference Center for four years, Eastland Suites for over eight years, and the Courtyard Marriot in Normal. Bill says his favorite part about working at Illinois State University is “impacting many students’ lives in a positive way; they come here as teenagers leaving home, and in four years, they leave us as young adults ready to take on the world.” When Bill isn’t in the office you will find him spending time with his seven children, attending their school activities, sporting events, or in the kitchen baking and making things to feed the whole family like chili, homemade chicken soup and pasta. Another family favorite is traveling to Goodfield, IL and eating fried chicken at Busy Corner.
Jennifer joined Campus Dining Services with seventeen years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining the Illinois State community, Jennifer graduated from Western Illinois University, with a degree in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Administration. Jennifer oversees the retail and catering operations as the Interim Associate Director of Retail and Catering. Jennifer’s favorite thing about Campus Dining is working with the students and her outstanding team. Outside of work, you can find Jennifer enjoying the outdoors with her husband and twin daughters.
If you are a student that has special nutritional needs, such as food allergies and/or special diets, Dianne Feasley is your guide to dining on campus. After working at OSF St. Joseph’s in Bloomington as a clinical dietitian /assistant food service director, Dianne Feasley came to Illinois State University Campus Dining Services in 1990 as our Registered Dietitian. Currently, Dianne is the Associate Director of Nutrition and Culinary Arts which involves working with our executive chef in creating new recipes and developing the weekly menus for the dining centers. Dianne would like all Illinois State students to know that "Campus Dining Services strives to provide a broad variety of foods to meet the food preferences of a diverse group of customers. Nothing makes us happier than to please our customers. We work very hard behind the scenes to make sure that the food is high quality and nutritious."
If you were to see Brett outside of the office, he would most likely be spending time with his kids running from one activity to the next. In the office, he is the Associate Director for Fiscal Planning. His favorite part of the job is “working with great people who are passionate about what they do.” Brett is a certified public accountant; he received his Bachelors of Science in Public Accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University and is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration from Illinois State University. Before joining Campus Dining at Illinois State in 2000, Brett spent three years working as a public accountant. What interests Brett the most about working in the Foodservice industry is, “the changing trends and constant desire to get better means that there are always challenges that keep things interesting.”
Holly began her journey at Illinois State University as a student. After graduating with a degree in Theatre, she moved to Chicago. During her time in the city, Holly worked as a manager for an Irish Pub, made many friends, and pursued her dreams. Holly is thrilled to be back at Illinois State University in her new role and passion as Student Hiring and Training Administrator.
In December of 2015, Mary Jo started with Campus Dining Services as Business Analyst, bringing several years of experience to the department. She graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana with Bachelor degree in Business Administration as well as the University of Illinois, Springfield with a Master degree in Computer Science. Mary Jo works on improving Campus Dining Services processes, reporting capabilities and technology needs, educating staff and starting a comprehensive plan for managing meal plans throughout the academic year, and that’s just a few of her responsibilities. She enjoys being part of the Campus Dining Service team and working in such a positive environment. She believes that the department focuses on providing the best possible dining experience for students. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, hiking, and playing pickleball.
